PreownedWoodworking.com Outage Policy

Our highest priority is your trading success. However, preownedwoodworking.com occasionally experiences "system outages" during which bidders cannot place bids. When these system outages occur, we offer the following policy:

For any system outage lasting twelve or more hours, PreownedWoodworking.com will automatically extend listings for 24 hours and automatically credit associated fees for affected listings. The following listings will be eligible for extension and credit:

• Any listing scheduled to end during the system outage
• Any listing scheduled to end in the hour after the end of the system outage
• Listings that end prior to a system outage WILL NOT be extended.

Following a system outage of twelve or more hours, PreownedWoodworking.com will extend the end times for all eligible listings by 24 hours. While in the process of extending the ending times, bidding on these listings will not be possible.

A system outage occurs when no one can bid as a result of unscheduled system downtime. At our discretion, PreownedWoodworking.com may consider two system outages that occur very closely to one another to be one system outage when extending listings.

PreownedWoodworking.com periodically schedules system downtime for maintenance and other purposes. This scheduled downtime is not covered by this policy. In addition, PreownedWoodworking.com had automated backups and maintenance scheduled nightly between the hours of 12 midnight and 5am. The nightly maintenance periodically may require system downtime. Although this is rare it does occur from time to time. Listings that end during, or are otherwise affected by, scheduled downtime will not be extended, even though bidders are not able to place bids at the close of the listing.

When failing equipment or any other critical issue forces an outage, Red Hat will open a trouble ticket on the outage and contact all users on the email outage list as soon as possible.
